Catch Group Launches New Travel Business, Bon Voyage
As Catch Group continues to cement its position as a key player in Australian e-commerce, the company today announced the expansion of its business with the launch of its new luxury travel site, Bon Voyage.
Catch Group’s new travel business will offer curated travel experiences and travel deals on more boutique and high-end experiences.
Bon Voyage complements Catch Group’s already successful travel and leisure business, Scoopon Travel, which targets budget travellers; its new website will allow the Group to extend its reach in the travel category with a broader offer as well as attract a more sophisticated and higher value customer.
Bon Voyage makes curated luxury travel and experiences accessible to all Australians, according to Catch Group. “Unlike other travel deals sites, all experiences have been handpicked by the team, bringing travellers five star experiences from the world’s best destinations,” says Catch Group’s chief executive Nati Harpaz.
Bon Voyage offers an interactive experience for travellers, where they can discover and learn about new travel destinations and activities to help them plan their escape in style. Its membership model works similar to Lux Group-owned Luxury Escapes, which has seen great success in the curated high-end travel space, so this would be in direct competition.
Catch Group says that at the heart of its new business, is offering travellers a high level of customer service thanks to the specialised support network it has in place through its extensive network of travel partners. “Bon Voyage also has a travel concierge team that will be available 9am to 9pm, Monday to Sunday. The team is there to enrich the travel experience for customers. From answering questions they may have about destinations, to assisting them with special requests such booking dinner reservations at a hot new restaurant.”
Catch says its new website will complement Scoopon Travel, and strengthen the Group’s competitive position by allowing it to attract higher value shoppers who are more brand aware.“We already are in the travel space with Scoopon Travel, which focuses on 3 to 5 star. However, the huge amount of growth and demand we have seen for 5-star travel has really driven this opportunity. Customers want the luxury experience and Bon Voyage will provide that,” explains Harpaz.
Bon Voyage was formed in partnership with former Miss Universe, model and travel guru, Jennifer Hawkins. Catch Group says that the ex-host of travel TV show Getaway, brings to Bon Voyage insight into some of the world’s best holiday destinations, plus with Catch and Scoopon’s extensive membership base, it’s hoping to build the Bon Voyage brand into the preferred destination online for luxury travel experiences at an accessible price point.
As Bon Voyage’s e-commerce platform grows, customers can expect to see more destinations and exclusive experiences added to the website, all in keeping with its promise of curated, luxurious, five-star travel experiences.

Only two weeks ago Catch Group launched its new marketplace and its new rebrand, and today’s announcement shows the group is headstrong about expanding and diversifying its business and e-commerce presence in Australia.
